Mineski Philippines Launches National Interschool Cyber League

As part of our Youth Esports Program, our initiative in the Philippines to develop the country’s next generation of esports talents through student org support, we are launching the inaugural season of the National Interschool Cyber League (NICL). The NICL will serve as our platform to funnel passionate student competitive gamers towards a national stage. In 2004, “Mineski” was a neighborhood Defense of the Ancients team that dominated the LAN cafes of Metro Manila. PPGL 2020 introduces the PUBG Mobile Philippines National Championship!

The Philippine Pro Gaming League kicks off its first-ever PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile tournament with the PUBG Mobile Philippines National Championship (PPNC). The partnership was made possible by Mineski Philippines and Globe Telecom, in cooperation with PUBG Mobile. This maiden run of the PPNC will have a prize pool of PhP 430,000.
