Mineski Thailand together with Tencent Games unveiled last May the “Mineski Masters Series,” a full-scale tournament featuring popular shooter game, PUBG Mobile.
256 amateur squads and 16 professional teams participated in a massive online tournament to determine Thailand’s finest marksmen in PUBG Mobile.
The final round featured the best 16 squads in the entire tournament to battle it out for the prize pool of 70,000 THB, roughly USD 2,000. Team Made in Thailand (MiTH) claimed the title of first-ever champion of the Mineski Masters Series at the expense of team Lynx TH. The talented squad also got to take home the first place prize of 30,000 (USD 943) out of the 70,000 THB (USD 2,224) prize pool.
The tournament was broadcasted on Facebook live via Mineski Thailand’s Facebook page and on their Nimo TV page. The tournament reached a million views over the course of its 15-day run on Facebook and Nimo TV, while reaching more than five million fans during its broadcast.
